When HP Software partnered with 1400 Words, its OpenView software division had recently gone through a string of mergers and acquisitions and was left with a highly diluted brand. Doing what we do best, our team helped HP OpenView crystallize its message and market focus through a manifesto and positioning statement. We then crafted all of OpenView’s marketing collateral to excite HP OpenView customers at its Miami Software Forum conference. Using this messaging framework, 1400 Words subsequently adapted HP OpenView’s marketing to more effectively reach an international audience at OpenView’s Software Universe event in Vienna.
