Client: Arkansas Children's Hospital
Project: Annual Report
Category: Annual Reports
“When you’re trying to do the right thing, it’s natural to imitate the actions of those you know and trust. But when the H1N1 virus struck our communities, Arkansas Children’s Hospital was faced with the challenge of convincing well-meaning caregivers that rushing a child to the emergency room at the first sign of illness isn’t always the best move.”

With a mission to enhance, sustain, and restore the health and development of children, Arkansas Children’s Hospital not only provides quality care to ill or injured children — it also plays a tremendous role in prevention, research, and innovation. In order to educate colleagues and friends of the hospital about the institution’s broad range of achievements, design partner Eisenberg And Associates developed a playful annual report concept in which children’s games served as metaphors for the many different milestones and initiatives that the team wanted to highlight. We supported the concept with conversational, personality-driven stories that captured both the advanced clinical capabilities and the optimistic spirit of this newly designated Level I Trauma Center.
